Bible Knowledge Series: Mark
Scripture Press
Facilitated by Joe Bielecki
Perhaps one of the most
powerful influences upon the success of a Bible study is how God's Spirit has
been working in the life of students through the week as they have engaged God's
Word. This excellent study tool offers just that opportunity with more
challenging commentary, engaging questions, and relevant life applications.
Coming Soon - Fall 2008 - Adult Education KIckoff! Courses will include several biblically based classes specifically designed to deal with issues we face as men, women, parents, spouses, etc.!
A LIFE Group is a gathering of 4-12 individuals (post high school) who desire to build Loving relationships, be Intentional in spiritual growth, encourage Fellowship with other groups and people, and teach and model Evangelism. LIFE Group meetings follow a format of Welcome (casual interaction), Worship (experience the presence of God), Word (study the Word of God and apply it to life), and Works (ministry to others in prayer and service). Life groups meet from 1-4 times per month, any day of the week, for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Join a LIFE Group this week! Alliance Women Ministries was
organized to promote fellowship, outreach and prayer among women and encourage
support and prayer for Alliance missionaries and worldwide ministries.
As Alliance Women, we agree with our founder, Dr. Albert B. Simpson, that we are
"...to keep abreast of the progress of our age and be...women of today in our
message and ministry to our own generation."
Because the church exists to help people everywhere find and know Jesus Christ
as Lord and Savior, we expect that women's ministries will be a functioning part
of the local church in carrying out Christ's Great Commission.
Through Alliance Women, you are invited to:
◊ Develop new and deeper friendships
◊ Discover ways to be equipped through God's Word
◊ Find opportunities to share your faith
◊ Pursue active global involvement
◊ Acquire encouragement and motivation in prayer
For more information about Alliance Women at Riverwood, contact Julie Reibling.

(Isaiah 6:1-9)
Shepherd our families responsibly (Eph 5:24-33; 6:4)

Understand that the battle is the Lord's and is to be fought in the spiritual
realm and in the fullness of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:7-8; Eph 6:10-13).

Road Rally - Coming Again in Fall 2008! What is a Road Rally, you ask? A road rally is similar to a scavenger hunt; the past few years we've hosted a digital road rally, which means we used digital cameras to log our progress! Each team (one carload of people) is given clues that consist of puzzles which lead you to other clues and ultimately to the final goal. Clues usually include puzzles which may require you to use any and all of your senses (including your common sense!). It's not just a game, it's an adventure! Here are some of our favorite pictures from the past few years:
